Claims Procedures
Registration
| Registration is required to activate the service | |
| Upon receiving customer PO from Lenovo, ADRC will be sending hard copy of DataInsure plan to customers | |
| To activate the plan, customers will register the plan at www.adrc.com/datainsure/activate/ (within 45 days of receiving plan) or if needed can contact ADRC to assist in registration. | |
| Service commences immediately after registration date | |
Claims & Recovery Process
| (1) Customer calls 1st level service helpdesk or manufacturer to troubleshoot for failure. |
| (2) If it is verified that data recovery services is required, customer can contact ADRC directly |
| (3) However, if customer is confident from onset that data recovery service is required, they can call ADRC directly to service their data recovery needs |
| (4) Customer will have to bring along the DataInsure service certificate for proof of identity while they send in the media. |
| (5) To recover data, customer needs to carry their machine/hard disk to ADRC at: Adroit Data Recovery Centre Pte Ltd 77 Science Park Drive #04-12/13 CINTECH III Singapore Science Park I Singapore 118256 6773-9277 ( Mon-Fri 9-6pm) (Courier can be arranged to pick up at additional fee) To expedite the recovery, customer is advised to send in a data drive with sufficient capacity for the purpose of transfering the recovered data. |
| (6) Customer will be required to sign a Service contract in order to proceed. |
Important Note: Should the HDD be required to be physically opened for data recovery, the customer understands and accepts that the warranty on the HDD is null and void, and there will not be further claims on Lenovo or the OEM for the harddisk
