These were what Mr Hidayat Sudirman found stored in a 14-inch Asus notebook PC he bought from retailer Newstead Technologies recently at an IT fair.
Free software can remove data
THERE is free software that allows users to remove sensitive data before they trade in or return their laptops.
Mr Felix Chang, laboratory manager of Adroit Data Recovery Centre, said users can download 'scrambling software' that will securely delete their data by overwriting it many times.
