I wanted to write to you and tell you that your software recovered every video and music file that I own that was on a western digital 1TB hard drive. Windows couldn't access the drive any longer. The file system was obviously corrupt for some reason. Your software scanned the drive and found everything! I can't thank you enough for creating such a fantastic & very practical product. This is an amazing little piece of software! Windows Vista annihilated most of the NTFS file system, and this little program got all the stuff back off of it! Pictures, music, documents, the whole works, and much of it went right back where it belonged. It even works well running in WineTools on Linux, just map the drives in Wine! This is the best $6.99 I ever spent on software.

After downloading several FREE programs, this was the only one that could recover a back-up drive that was accidentally reformatted. Great program, easy to use, worth every penny!

I recently copied a drive image, which was about 3 gigabytes of data, from a drive that was split into 3 partitions. I then deleted the partitions and set up a new single partition using the entire drive and re-formatted it using NTFS.

When I came to try and use the drive image I had copied, I found that it had been accidentally deleted and some of the data had been written over with subsequent files.

As a last resort I tried Data Recovery Express on the repartitioned and formatted drive. The data was found and recovered in its entirety.

This was an excellent result as I had not really believed that such low cost software would be so effective.
